valley of fire

Us and Allen's stayed in Vegas since it was Spring Break.
We went and visited the Valley of Fire State Park.
It was pretty amazing.

Every year for Valentine's we have a nice candlelit dinner.

(Well nice dinner but not necessarily nice dress...thus Makaylee in pajamas)

christmas eve.....

Every year Christmas Eve is spent with Jon's family.....

 Our absolute favorite dinner...butt ham dinner....the best gravy is made with this ham, we all LOVE it and Kathy's yams...yeah, they are the BEST...me and Mark fight over the left over yams...however, this year he kindly let me take them!

 we read Christmas stories.....

Every year, the Sunday before Thanksgiving all of Mark's family gets together at his mom and dad's. This year his dad's health was not great so we weren't able to see everyone. Jon's mom and dad decided to do a get together on December 23. It was fun to see most everyone (we missed those who didn't/couldn't make it).
